April 2019 Attorney Charlene Pinkney Ferguson spoke before the pre-law magnet program at Miami Carol City Sr. High Alumni week. The students enjoyed the dialogue about Dependency law and how to become an attorney.
March 2019 We had the honor and pleasure of speaking at the National Active and Retired Federal Employee Association: Chapter 162 meeting. We discussed the importance of having a will, power of attorney and advanced healthcare directives.
June 2017 The Pinkney Law Firm, in conjunction with the Miami-Dade Family Court Services, presented Advocating for and Protecting The Best Interest of Children with Special Needs in Family and Dependency Law Cases with co-presenter Dr. Peter Caproni and introduced by the Honorable Judge Bernstein. The presentation was provided to over a hundred attorneys, advocates, and members of the judiciary. 2 CLE credits were provided by the Florida Bar to all attendees.
November 2016-November 2017 The Pinkney Law Firm will be presenting bi-monthly free Know Your Rights Legal Workshops with the City of Miami-Gardens, FL on topics such as Wills, Special Education, Foreclosure, Education, Paternity and Dissolution of Marriage Law.
February 2017 Attorney Charlene Pinkney Ferguson was featured on Own The Vision radio program hosted by Jason Warner of Own The Vision Foundation in a program entitled, "Lady of the Law," discussing a variety of legal topics such as Paternity and Wills.
October 2015. The Pinkney Law Firm, P.A. donated more than 100 pumpkins to the Teaching Heart Learning Center Daycare in Miami- Gardens, FL along with Miami Gardens Mayor Oliver Gilbert III. More than 100 children and families came out for food, art's and crafts at the daycare's First Annual Pumpkin Patch.

September 18, 2015. Laverne O. Pinkney, Esq. presented at Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center: Nova Law Review Symposium, Shutting Down the School to Prison Pipeline. Fellow speakers included the Honorable Peggy Quince of the. Florida Supreme Court. The Honorable Peggy Quince specifically commended Ms. Pinkney on her hard work in representing children in the educational and juvenile law system.
